Trivia

Among the Egg moves newly made available to S51, Disable made its debut in Uranium. Allowing the Ekans line to finally use the move via the Ratsy line and Sketch. While Hidden Ability Nupins were allowed to circulate for acquisition via trade, this Mystery Gift also marks the first time that the Hidden Ability for a Genderless Pokemon was made available via more official means. In addition, this marks the first time that the item Twisted Spoon was made available in the game.

The event name is a cross between the Steven Spielberg film Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Kinder Eggs. The ID references the Roswell incident, in which many conspiracy theorists claimed the US government was attempting to hide UFOs when weather balloon debris was found. The OT "SETI" is an acronym that means "Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence".

Design Origin

S51's Easter Mystery Gift makes it rabbit-like and its spaceship is an Easter basket. Its head greatly resembles a Peeps marshmallow rabbit.
