Affects the user

Bide is an offensive Normal-type move.

The user spends two turns absorbing damage, then retaliates on the third turn with double the damage it took while waiting. This move can strike Pokémon that are out of reach, such as through Fly or Dig. When in a double battle, Bide will target the last Pokémon to damage the user.

Bide also has increased priority, meaning it begins absorbing damage before most attacks can go off.
