Trivia

  • Fortog, Folerog, and Blubelrog were first designed by Zorin, and later redesigned by Twitch.
  • Blubelrog originaly had a blue belly in early artwork, presumably where its category name comes from, which was changed to a purple color.
  • Prior to 1.2.3, Blubelrog used Feraligatr's cry.

Design origin

Blubelrog takes inspiration from frogs and toads.

Additionally, its shiny coloration is nearly identical to the regular coloration of Politoed.

Name origin

Blubelrog is a combination of blue, belly, and frog.
