Physiology

Tancoon is a small wolf-like Pokemon. It's mostly brown with black ears, tail and paws. It has a V-shaped marking on its head and dark blue eyes with dark markings under each. It has two large claws on each of its paws and two large fangs.

Trivia

• Tancoon and Tanscure became the first evolutionary line in Pokémon Uranium to have multiple Mystery Gift forms.
• Prior to 1.3.1, Nuclear Tancoons' only Nuclear move was Gamma Ray.

Design Origin

Tancoon is based off of the raccoon dog, a species of canine that resembles a raccoon. They are called "tanuki" in Japan.

The Christmas Tancoon is more dog-like and resembles a Reindeer. It possessing a single antler is a reference to Max from Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Name Origin

Tancoon is derived from tanuki and racoon.
