Biology[]
Vilucard is a bipedal feline Pokémon that also resembles a bat and a vampire. It is primarily purple in color and has a large pair of ears with neon green insides. It has narrow green eyes with vertical slit pupils and a constantly smiling mouth with sharp white teeth poking out. Its neck and arms possess a cloak-like attachment that also resembles a pair of bat wings. The collar and front of the cloak are a neon green color, whereas the back of the cloak is purple with a darker purple patch covering most of it. It also has darker purple patches on its head and on the tip of its ribbon-like tail. It has longer arms than legs. Its arms and feet are dark purple, and its torso is white, with a purple crescent moon symbol in the middle. It has bat-like feet which are dark purple, and its dark purple arms end in small cat-like paws, with pawpads on each paw and three digits on each paw and foot.
Vilucard is a villainous Pokémon that constantly plots dastardly schemes in order to spread chaos and fear. However, it seems to not be very good at it, as its arch-rival Herolune will always foil its plans.
Vilucard seems to be inspired primarily by vampire bats as well as mythological vampires. It also has some cat-like features, such as its tail.
Vilucard's inability to best its sworn enemy is probably inspired by various children's cartoon villains.
Given the feline features of Vilucard compared to the canine appearance of Herolune, their rivalry is obviously based on the stereotype of cats and dogs not getting along.
Name Origin[]
Vilucard is a composite of vile or villain and Alucard (Dracula spelled backwards, and the name of multiple vampires in fiction).
