The energy that GELLIN generates from photosynthesis is converted into electromagnetic pulses. It uses these as a means of propulsion.
Biology[]
Physiology[]
Gellin's body is squishy and coated with a semi-permeable membrane. However, it has evolved six limbs for locomotion. It has horseshoe-shaped organelles on either side of its head, on each of its legs and on its tail. It also has large green mitochondriae on its forehead and back. Other than these, it lacks any sort of eyes, mouth or facial features.
Special Abilities[]
Gellin uses the electricity it generates from solar power as a method of locomotion and self defense. Its special organelles can expel pulses of electromagnetic energy to move surprisingly fast as well as deliver a nasty shock.
Behavior[]
Being rather simple organisms, Gellin are not particularly intelligent or empathetic, but they can follow orders decently well. They are big enough to ride, if you don't mind their squishy exterior, and are strong enough to run carrying a medium-sized human.
Italic movea get STAB only when used by an evolution of Gellin
Underlined moves are unavailable to a prior evolution(s) and/or will be completely unavailable upon evolving.
By Breeding[]
Gellin is genderless, it can't get any of the Egg Moves listed through natural means (unless learnable elsewhere such as via a Mystery Gift event, TM, and/or Move Tutor).
Nupin and Gellin were designed by Involuntary Twitch. They are some of Twitch's oldest fakemon designs.
In its nuclear form, Gellin and its preevolution have the most 4x weaknesses of all Pokémon, with double weaknesses to Ice, Flying, Fire, Bug, and Poison-type moves.
Gellin is tied with Mega Dramsama, Brainoar, and Sponaree for the lowest base Physical Attack stat of any fully evolved Pokemon in Uranium.
Kinetmunk, Gellin, and Quetzoral all have the highest catch rate of any evolved Pokemon in the game (33.3%) that can be caught in the wild.
Design Origin[]
Gellin is based off of a single-celled organism, possibly an amoeba or bacteria. It may also derive from phytoplankton, considering its Grass typing and photosynthetic abilities. The pattern on Gellin's head and back might be based on solar panels.
Name Origin[]
Gellin possibly comes from Flagellin, a type of protein. It may also come from gelatinous.
