Knock Off is an offensive Dark-type move.

As of 1.1, it can be taught by the Physical Move Tutor in Tsukinami Village Hotel at a price of four Red Shards. Prior to 1.0.4, it could be taught by the Ultimate Move Tutor in Tsukinami Village, at a cost of 4 of each type of shard.

Effect[]

If Knock Off is used on a Pokémon that is holding an item that can be lost, it will deal 50% more damage. It will not remove a held item if the user faints due to Rough Skin or held Rocky Helmet. However, Knock Off will still remove the target's held item if the user faints due to its own held Life Orb.

Knock Off cannot remove a Mega Stone and will receive a boost to damage.

Knock Off cannot remove the held item if it hits the target's substitute, but the bonus damage will apply anyway.

Trivia[]

Ohno Bugs Have you seen all the bugs in Tandor? Give me a call if you find any new ones!

Prior to version 1.2.5, this move did not actually increase in power when used on a Pokémon with an item. Click here for more info on known bugs.
