Odor Sleuth is a status-altering Normal-type move.

Odor Sleuth causes accuracy checks against the target to ignore changes to its evasion stat stages if its evasion stat stage is greater than 0. If Odor Sleuth's target is a Ghost-type Pokémon, it also removes the target's immunity to Fighting-type and Normal-type moves. Odor Sleuth's effect ends when the target switches out.

Odor Sleuth itself bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

Odor Sleuth will fail if used against a Pokémon already under its effect.
