Psywave is an offensive Psychic-type move.

Effect

Psywave inflicts damage equal to $\left\lfloor {\frac {Level_{user}\times (r+50)}{100}}\right\rfloor$, where r is a random number from 0 to 100. However, if this calculation produces a value of 0, Psywave deals 1 HP of damage instead.

Although Psywave is a Psychic-type move, STAB is never applied. It still cannot hit Dark-type Pokémon, however, except by using Miracle Eye.
