Location Location of Route 16 in East Tandor. |
Route 16 - Mt. Lanthanite is a mountainous route in East Tandor connecting Silverport Town to Snowbank Town.
Route Description
It's a steep climb up Mt. Lanthanite from Silverport Town. It's common to feel dizzy and sick from the sudden change in altitude and the thin air, even for those who frequently travel between Silverport Town and Snowbank Town. With the exception of a day or two during the summer, the peak of Mt. Lanthanite is always covered with a carpet of ice and snow, and while the route is well-maintained and brutal wind, constant hail, and slippery ice make the route extremely dangerous. It's common for the snow to pile up to waist-height. If you hear the creepy howl of the avalanche siren off in the distance, you better slip into a cave or crevice in the mountainside and hope you don't get trapped inside.
Places of Interest
The cave at the north point of the route holds a waterfall that leads to the Lanthanite Core. Navigating through the cave leads to the Legendary Pokémon Lanthan.

NOTE: "Dragon Trainer Kim" is intentionally listed twice. Two trainers by this name, with identical teams - but different dialogue - exist on different parts of the Route. This may be a bug.
