Snow Cloak is an ability introduced in Generation IV. So far 4 Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
Snow Cloak increases the evasion of the bearer during hail by 25%. A Pokémon with this Ability will take no damage from hail if it otherwise would. It can be seen as a hail counterpart to Sand Veil.
Outside of battle
If a Pokémon with Snow Cloak is the leading party Pokémon while travelling in a hail storm/blizzard, wild Pokémon are only half as likely to appear.
