The Gold Fossil currently requires players to be directly on top of the item before pressing the button to pick it up.
The dive spots near the exit to Route 15 are the best places to farm shards used as currency by the Move Tutors in Tsukinami Village because, unlike all other pieces of coral, these ones do not trigger Pokemon encounters.

- The music is from Meteor Falls from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
- Battle Girl Felice's Chupacho has Smog, Sludge (neither of which it can learn), Mach Punch, and Acid Armor instead of Poison Fang, Agility, Knock Off, and Poison Jab. Her Primeape also has Karate Chop instead of Rage.
- Black Belt Judo's Chupacho has the same moves listed above.
